night May 3rd we will have a new special for dinner. Chef Billy and Jovani are going to change up our dining experience with this weeks New Orleans Themed dinner. Each Friday we will have a dinner special to go along with our Shrimp Basket that so many love.
This Friday will be A choice of two dinners. The first dinner will be Jambalaya. Chicken and Andouille sausage for $11.95. The second dinner choice will be Shrimp and bacon cheese grits for $12.95.

We would like to wish everybody a Happy Easter. In celebration of this holiday our last tee time of the day will be at 12:30 pm and the restaurant and bar will be closing at 2:30 pm to allow our employees to spend time with their families as well. Hope everyone has a great day.
We would like to welcome our new mechanic Gary who will oversee our machinery in the maintenance barn. Gary has 45 years of golf course experience as well as 25 years at Gator Creek , Sarasotas premier private golf club. We look forward to top notch machinery receiving top notch attention.
Doug has been a great job doing a great job with the greens Repair as the staff has worked tirelessly starting on Monday digging out squares where we can put down the fresh sod on Wednesday and Thursday. We have cut areas around all of the sod with the new greens mower and the greens are really rolling well
Clark has been Doing a great job with the irrigation and is getting the greens plenty of water which the newly planted areas desperately need.
Fred, Shane, Zach, and Charlie all really worked hard this week and are taking a much needed rest this weekend. If the see they crew please let them no how much you appreciate their hard work.
I personally mowed the greens this afternoon so that we could give them a nice dry cut and pulled off a full buckets of grass on every green. For those playing golf this weekend you will definitely notice an increase in speed of the greens. We know that our greens had struggled with speed this winter but we are doing our best to again have some of the best greens in Manatee County.
If you have time this weekend come play a round of golf and then come watch the Masters Coverage on DirecTV in the MOC bar and grill. We have some great specials this weekend. New Fish and Chips basket. Jalapeño poppers are new to the menu, and we have what one of the Masters TV commentator call a “Destination Burger,” where he will ride his motorcycle to The MOC just to eat.

The golf course will be closed today Tuesday April 9 due to inclement weather as well as continued storms throughout the day. This will allow our maintenance staff to continue preparing the greens for the incoming sod from South Florida Grassing inc who supplies the tif eagle grass. We had two options, we could try to grow back the weaker areas that plagued us through the winter, or invest money into our greens and get immediate results. We are expecting delivery tomorrow morning and will be doing the majority of the golf course Wednesday with completion on Thursday morning on the back nine. We ask you to play the effected areas as ground under repair for your line of play. Once the said is in the ground you will be able to play right through it.

Tonight’s Friday special is the Butterfly Shrimp Basket with French fries for $9.95.
Tonight we have brought back our Pork tenderloin sandwich with french fries. It is a fried pork tenderloin with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Suraci mayo, served on a brioche bun with french fries.
Another new Friday night special will be the grilled barbecue pork sandwich served with french fries for $9.95. It is a grilled pork tenderloin with citrus chipotle barbecue sauce, apple slaw, served on a brioche bun with french fries also for $9.95.
We also have regular menu with salads , house salad, chef Salad, Greek Salad , Caesar salad, as well as trio salad of Tuna,chicken,and egg salad on a bed of lettuce.
